This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with key decision-makers, support the sales team, and play a vital role in maintaining and growing long-term client partnerships.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Assisting in key account management, ensuring high standards of customer care and service.
- Monitoring and supporting customer performance, liaising between sales and operational teams.
- Reviewing customer spending patterns and identifying business trends.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, including supporting major contract negotiations alongside the Sales Manager.
- Assisting the Sales Director and Managing Director in reviewing and implementing annual rate increases.
- Maintaining active communication with operational departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Preparing and maintaining customer quotes, tracking success rates and identifying conversion trends.
- Updating and managing the CRM system to ensure all activity is recorded and monitored effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in an internal sales, account management or customer service role (logistics industry experience highly desirable).
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Strong organisational skills with a good eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy team environment.
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
