Join a team as a Technical & Internal Sales Administrator, where you will blend technical sales with administrative support.

This role involves direct liaison with both new and existing customers, providing technical advice, preparing quotations, managing internal order processing, and ensuring customer satisfaction from enquiry through to delivery.

 Ideal candidates will have a willingness to learn and grow into a technical expert in acoustics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with customers via phone and email to understand product requirements and lead times.
  • Create and follow up on customer quotations using bespoke and in-house selection software.
  • Provide technical advice and solutions (post-training), with the ability to grow into a technical expert in acoustics.
  • Process customer orders and send order confirmations.
  • Perform commercial reviews of orders and input them into the ERP system.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Dispatch.
  • Maintain clear CRM and sales records.
  • Support the wider sales team administratively, contributing to monthly reporting and stock data input.
  • Organise product dispatch with logistics providers.
  • Assist with general office administration, filing, and stocktaking tasks.
  • Actively promote the Elta brand and help grow our market presence.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a sales support, administration, or customer-facing role.

  • Ability to learn technical product knowledge and apply it practically (acoustic training provided).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail with accurate data entry skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Organised, able to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • A team player who is flexible, proactive, and willing to support colleagues in a small business environment.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple customer accounts.
