Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective internal control policies and procedures to identify and mitigate risks.
• Conduct regular audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on internal control processes.
• Monitor key control indicators and report on any deviations or weaknesses.
• Stay updated on industry best practises and emerging trends in internal controls.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A proven track record as an accountant with experience in internal controls.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Salary and Benefits:

• Competitive annual salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000 depending on experience.
