Internal Auditor - Gleeson Recruitment Group : Job Details

Are you an experienced Internal Auditor looking to take the next step in your career within a forward-thinking, supportive organisation? We're currently partnering with a well-established business based in Solihull that is seeking a talented Internal Auditor to join their growing audit and risk team.

As an Internal Auditor, you'll play a key role in providing independent assurance on the effectiveness of internal controls, governance processes, and risk management across the organisation. This is a high-profile role offering great exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence business performance.

• Plan and deliver internal audit assignments across a broad range of business areas.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.

• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.

• Support the development of the annual audit plan.

• Collaborate with departments to ensure audit actions are implemented effectively.

• Assist in developing best practices to enhance audit efficiency and coverage.

• Qualified or part-qualified (e.g. ACA, ACCA, IIA, or equivalent).

• Previous experience in internal audit, either in practice or in-house.

• Strong understanding of risk management, governance, and control frameworks.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Able to work independently and manage multiple assignments effectively.

• Degree in accountancy, economics or business.

• Competitive salary of up to £60,000 package (depending on experience).
