Description
- Conduct thorough internal audits to assess financial and operational risks.
- Develop and implement audit plans aligned with organisational objectives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and present to management.
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Provide guidance to departments on risk management best practices.
- Support the development of internal audit frameworks and methodologies.
Profile
A successful Internal Auditor should have:
- Current experience working within external or internal audit
- Professional qualifications such as CIA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficiency with financial software and tools.
- Experience in internal audit, with a preference for the automotive or retail industry.
- DESIRABLE - Experience working on SOX controls
