Internal Auditor, Blackburn, £60,000-£67,000+ 10% Bonus & benefits 

This role will also give you the opportunity to partner heavily with the senior leadership team, including the CFO. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Management Accountant to join their finance team.

Responsibilities for the Internal Auditor role: 

• Assist management in ensuring that assignments are completed to time and budget

• Assist with risk assessment and controls for future acquisitions

• Build relationships with stakeholders to facilitate internal audit programs into the wider organisation

• Draft audit planning documents for approval

• Manage, perform and control internal audit assignments embracing assignment planning programming, conduct and control of audit work and reporting findings

• Partner with internal stakeholders so they can perform controls testing effectively and make necessary changes

• Report back findings clearly, setting out recommendations for improvements

Qualifications for the Internal Auditor role: 

• Must be a fully qualified accountant 

• Strong attention to detail, analytical and technical skills

• Confident communicator able to work with stakeholders at all levels 

• Audit or internal controls experience is preferred but not essential
