Internal Auditor, Worcester, £60,000-£70,000, Hybrid Working
Greenwellgleeson are pleased to be working with a fast growing, multi-sited manufacturing and distribution business based in Worcestershire to recruit an experienced Internal Auditor.
Reporting into the Head of Risk & Compliance, the successful candidate will assist in the ongoing development and implementation of the group-wide risk and compliance strategy. The business provides the chance of being part of a dynamic work place where each day brings new challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and executing individual reviews;
Conducting assessments of key controls within individual business units and conducting companywide process reviews in areas identified as having high inherent and/or residual risk;
Identifying and agreeing findings with auditees;
Preparing and finalising audit reports;
Following up of the implementation of agreed actions;
Engaging with relevant teams across all group businesses to implement policies and controls;
Coordinating group-wide projects focusing on specific high-risk areas, and liaising with specialised third-party advisors as needed;
Managing ad-hoc significant risk events should they occur and assisting group businesses in taking appropriate actions, including dealing with litigation, claims, regulatory reviews, and other related matters;
The successful candidate:
Will be experienced in risk and compliance in a corporate environment;
Have the ability to work independently and take ownership of important projects;
Be driven, pragmatic, and has a strong focus on risk management.;
Have exceptional communication and management skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all organisational levels;
Operate throughout the Group and will involve some travelling (up to 20%);
Hold relevant professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CIA, or similar, and has experience in Internal Audit management.
Salary : 60000 - 70000
