Sheffield – Office Based

£28,000 + Commission (£10,000 OTE)

Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a growing and well-established business in the manufacturing industry to recruit an Internal Account Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and results-focused sales professional to join a thriving company and play a key role in developing commercial accounts across multiple sectors, including garden centres, farm shops, builders’ merchants, and garage forecourts.

Working closely with an external Area Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for maximising sales opportunities, nurturing customer relationships, and supporting business growth through proactive outbound activity.

Responsibilities of an Internal Account Manager:

  • Make proactive outbound calls to commercial clients across a variety of sectors.
  • Support the external sales team in developing and managing accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities and follow up on leads.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and sales records.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and product knowledge.
  • Consistently meet and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.

Requirements of an Internal Account Manager:

  • Proven experience in sales, telesales, or a customer-focused role.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • IT literate, with CRM experience.
  • Tenacious, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated by targets, incentives, and progression opportunities.
