Interim Senior Finance Manager - Axon Moore Group Ltd : Job Details

Axon Moore are supporting a leading business based in North Yorkshire in the appointment an Interim Senior Finance Manager as they go through a period of change.This is an exciting opportunity where the successful candidate will be positioned in a highly visible role across the organisation and will lead the Finance, Planning and Analysis function. The key responsibilities for this person will include:

• Ownership of the budgets and forecasts 
• Production of the key internal reporting documents in respect of financial planning, including PowerPoint presentations for board-level consumption eg Annual budget and key re-forecasts.
• Work closely with the Divisional Finance teams and non-Finance stakeholders to continuously monitor progress against forecast/budget, understand variances and re-assess the forecast as necessary
• Forecast and reconcile key financial measures monthly
• Support with the yearly and half-yearly reporting – including liaison with the Groups auditors
• Continually review the Groups financial performance for trends, issues and opportunities 
• Lead on system improvements 
• Lead the Finance input of ad-hoc projects that require financial modelling, including M&A opportunities and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate requirements for this role will include the following:

• Qualified Finance Leader, (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness
• Strong IT skills and experience in designing forecast models.
