Senior Analyst FP&A - Insurance

Are you an analytically driven finance professional with Insurance experience who has a passion for translating complex data into meaningful insights? We're partnering with a dynamic Lloyd's market underwriter in their search for an Interim Senior FP&A Lead - a role offering genuine influence, visibility, and the chance to contribute to strategic decision-making at the highest level.

Working at the heart of the FP&A function, this role will see you take ownership of the full suite of financial management information - from detailed monthly MI and quarterly investor packs, to forward-looking scenario modelling and planning. You'll act as a key business partner to the Head of Group Financial Performance and the Active Underwriter, becoming an expert in the Syndicate's performance drivers and a trusted voice in senior-level reporting.

Responsibilities will include

• Delivering high-quality monthly and quarterly MI, investor reporting, and performance analysis
• Preparing forward-looking material for both current and prospective investors
• Leading Syndicate planning, forecasting and scenario testing alongside senior stakeholders
• Producing insightful Board materials and benchmarking performance against peers
• Enhancing processes across FP&A and contributing to strategic projects and modelling

You'll be a commercially astute, detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills and a clear communication style. You're as comfortable producing detailed models as you are presenting your findings to the Executive Committee or investors.

You will bring:

• Lloyd's market / insurance FP&A experience
• Strong Excel / modelling skills and an ability to distil data into clear insights
• Experience in investor relations or capital-raising materials (desirable)
• A collaborative mindset and initiative to drive process improvement
