Job Title: Interim Procurement Lead Location: Wiltshire (1 day per week onsite) | Duration: Up to 6 Months | Temporary Contract

Your Mission:As the Interim Procurement Lead, you will spearhead the end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring that everything aligns with the Procurement Act 2023 while fostering a compliant, professional, and value-driven procurement function. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead with Purpose: Develop and manage compliant procurement and tendering activities in line with the latest regulations.
• Deliver Complex Tenders: Take charge of high-priority and high-value tenders, ensuring excellence at every step.
• Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with stakeholders to plan timelines, define specifications, and evaluate submissions.
• Align Strategies: Ensure procurement plans resonate with strategic sourcing objectives and market best practises.
• Empower Others: Share your expertise to enhance the skills of permanent staff and stakeholders alike.
• Innovate Procurement practises: Support the introduction of structured procurement lifecycles and pre-market engagement methodologies.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: Proven history of leading public sector procurements within a regulated environment (PCR 2015/Procurement Act 2023).
• Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of supplier engagement and negotiation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with a knack for clear communication.
• Desirable Background: Experience in the public sector is essential!
