Hours: 35 hours per week, 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday

Contract: Fixed Term - 10 months Maternity cover with the opportunity to extend

Salary: Circa £50,000 per annum

Location: Marshall House, 2 Park Avenue, Sale M33 6HE

The Role:

As the Interim Marketing Manager, your role will be varied and diverse. Reporting into the Group CEO, your responsibilities will cover the full medium of marketing across a multi-channel group of businesses. Working with your team as well as external parties, you will be following the marketing strategy and will be responsible for the development and implementation of all marketing activities across the group. This includes all marketing initiatives, communications and public relations activities both external, and internal, to maximise the group of brands, build on brand engagement and drive commercial success.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a financial services background and possess the ability to maintain a strategic overview of marketing priorities, taking the lead on various initiatives directed by stakeholders and other teams. Despite having a strong digital focus, the role requires a versatile professional who is organised and comfortable handling multiple tasks and brands simultaneously.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for executing strategic marketing plans across the group to meet the business objectives and in line with brand values
  • Manage the marketing team as well as external providers and agencies to deliver the annual marketing plan
  • Oversee brand development and brand communications across the group
  • Deliver an engaging calendar of campaigns, events and activities in line with business goals and objectives
  • Manage media relations and drive brand awareness
  • Approve content, copy, collateral and marketing materials
  • Manage and administer the allocated marketing budget and be accountable for the ROI of marketing programs
  • Analyse and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and activities
  • Coach and manage the performance of direct reports
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across various departments to gather insights, align strategies, and ensure cross-functional collaboration.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, working at a senior level
  • Financial services background
  • Strong track record in B2B and B2C marketing, showcasing a history of successful campaigns.
  • Proven experience in owning and delivering integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring comprehensive and cohesive strategies.
  • Proficient writer, especially adept at translating technical features and benefits into compelling and accessible content.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro, for collateral building and multimedia content creation
  • Competent in WordPress CMS and Umbraco
  • A sense of aesthetics and understanding of premium branding
  • Solid proficiency in Canva and MS PowerPoint, utilising them for impactful presentations marketing collateral
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing, knowledge of new marketing technology and tools
  • In-depth understanding of various social media platforms, leveraging them for impactful marketing initiatives
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all marketing materials.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
  • Numerically literate, ability to analyse and set KPIs
