Job Description :
The Opportunity;We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join an exciting service business on a 6-month interim basis. This is a generalist position, providing hands-on HR support across a range of areas including employee relations, recruitment, and HR projects. The role is well-suited to an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident in delivering effective HR solutions that align with business objectives. The role will report to the HR Manager and work alongside a supportive, friendly HR team. Please note candidates must be available immediately to start due to the interim nature of this role. Key Responsibilities;
  • Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practice.
  • Manage a variety of employee relations matters, including absence management, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases.
  • Support hiring managers to manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from drafting job descriptions to onboarding.
  • Support the delivery of HR projects, including policy development, process improvements, and change initiatives.
  • Maintain and update HR systems and ensure accurate reporting of employee data.
  • Provide guidance on employee engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives.
  • Assist with learning and development activities where required.
Ideal candidate;
  • CIPD qualified (or working towards) with proven experience in an HR generalist role.
  • Employee relations experience with the ability to advise and manage cases confidently.
  • Demonstrable recruitment experience across various role types.
  • Able to work on HR projects and deliver results within agreed timescales.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the business.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong team player, adaptable, and comfortable working in a changing environment.
