Interim Head of FP&A - HW FINANCE LIMITED : Job Details

Are you a commercially minded FP&A leader with experience in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment?

We’re exclusively supporting a high-growth, standalone services business in Manchester seeking an Interim Head of FP&A to take full ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles during a critical period of transformation and growth.

As a senior finance partner to the board and wider business, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting process
• Delivering robust financial planning and strategic analysis
• Providing high-quality reporting and insight to both internal stakeholders and PE investors
• Building dynamic financial models to support key commercial decisions
• Acting as the finance lead in board meetings and investor updates
• Working independently with full autonomy in a standalone finance planning role

• Proven experience as a Head of FP&A, FP&A Manager or Senior Commercial Finance lead
• Background in PE-backed or high-growth businesses is essential
• Strong communicator able to influence and challenge at C-suite/board level
• Advanced Excel/modelling skills and strong business acumen
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on, stand-alone capacity
