Description
- Lead the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Manage cash flow, investments, and funding strategies.
- Support audits and liaise with external stakeholders as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement across all finance operations.
Profile
A successful Interim Head of Finance should:
- Be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
- Proven senior-level finance experience in the NFP sector (international or social entreprise)
- Significant all-round accounting, full grants cycle management, compliance, risk and financial sustainability experience
- Strong knowledge of strategic business planning
- Direct exposure of financial reporting to a Board of Trustees and major donors
