Interim Head of Finance - FinTech

£550-650p/d Inside IR35

6-9 months – opportunity to go permanent

Central London Based (Hybrid)

Start Date: Ideally ASAP

This is an exciting opportunity for an immediately available individual to join a high growth FinTech scaleup as they embark on the next exciting phase of their journey.

After the business recently secured additional investment, this role will be working closely with the CFO and managing a large portion of the day-to-day finance function. If you have both great commercial and technical accounting experience, you will be ideal for this role!

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of board pack including monthly management accounts with analysis and commentaries
• Lead on FP&A, commercial finance and company-wide business  partnering.
• Have ownership over investor reporting pack including KPI analysis (financial & non-financial)
• Statutory reporting & tax work
• Improve all financial and operational processes and controls, ensuring that they are robust and fit for scale. Using technology where possible to automate transactional  finance.

The ideal candidate will have:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with significant years PQE 
• Previous experience working for a high-growth FinTech business is  ideal.
• Excellent time-management experience and the ability to meet  deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to influence decision  making at a senior  level.
