Interim Group FP&A Manager | VC Backed SaaS Business | Remote

We are delighted to be exclusively recruiting an Interim Group FP&A Manager on a six-month contract for one of Europe's most impressive scale-ups within the SaaS space.

The Client

With headcount over 500 and a turnover of circa £100m, this renowned scale-up is looking for an Interim Group FP&A Manager to join at a pivotal time in their growth journey for a period of 6 months. The business is well-known for their dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, they offer a remote (UK based) set-up, with occasional travel to London.

They have carved out a specific niche within SaaS which has led to them receiving significant rounds of funding from some of the world's leading Venture Capital firms & Investors.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Director, you will be responsible for working closely with them on areas including investor reporting, updating the business model, group budgets and forecasts. Importantly, this is a Group focussed role, it's therefore crucial this individual has a strong technical background with working knowledge and experience of IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Supporting with the 3 & 5 year long term strategic and financial planning.
• Financial modelling to identify risks, opportunities and long-term plans.
• Work closely on executing and updating the group annual budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate closely and business partner with relevant budget holders to ensure sound financial resource allocation and drive operational efficiencies.
• Lead the FP&A month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate management reports.
• Review financial models and projections, challenge assumptions, and provide data- insights for executive decision-making.
• Manage external reporting for investors and lenders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Ad hoc project work with the Commercial Finance Director and CFO.

Essential Skills

• Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA or equivalent with audit background)
• Experience working in a SaaS based business and revenue model.
• Strong technical background and working knowledge of IFRS
• Comfortable in a remote working environment.

Bonus Skills

• Experience working in a SaaS scale-up
• Audit trained Accountant

Location: Remote

Day Rate: £500-600 (Outside IR35)

Start Date: Immediate/ASAP

Contract length: 6 months
