Interim Statutory Reporting – Creative & Entertainment Sector

Hybrid (London-based HQ) | 6-month contract

£60,000 - £65,000 Bonus

One of my favourite clients, a business that blends hard work with genuine enjoyment, is looking for a recently audit-trained (ACA/CA/CAANZ) to guide them through a crucial year-end period. You’ll be joining a creative, fast-moving organisation where collaboration, problem-solving, and the ability to communicate clearly and build strong relationships are as valued as technical expertise.

• What you’ll be doingPreparing UK statutory accounts for all companies within the Group, plus a few smaller entities
• Managing the audit process end-to-end, ensuring deadlines are hit without unnecessary business disruption
• Liaising directly with auditors, internal finance, and other stakeholders to resolve queries quickly
• Preparing the statutory long-range forecast for group impairment testing
• Leading regular progress meetings with auditors and internal teams
• Calculating adjustments from local GAAP to IFRS
• Reconciling management reporting vs. statutory profit for the executive team
• Preparing tax calculations for all entities and working with the internal tax team on queries
• Ensuring all statutory adjustments are posted in SAP where needed

Ideally you will be a practice-trained (Top 10) chartered accountant with strong technical accounting experience who can hit the ground running, comfortable picking up new systems, adaptable and eager to learn, with strong Excel skills, and available to start at the end of September.
