Robertson Bell are supporting a Central Government department to recruit an interim Future Risk Lead on an initial six-month contract to spearhead the organisations ‘Future Thinking’ initiative. This role will require sporadic travel into a regional office, which are typically found in most major UK cities.
The Future Risk Lead will be responsible for:
- Conducting an in-depth and cross-organisational review to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities that could impact the organisation within the next 5-10 years.
- Translate the findings of these reviews into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Design and detail the foundations of a plan to initiate workstreams that tackle these future risks and emerging trends.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in ‘Future Thinking’ or a background in corporate risk and/or policy management, with a keen interest in this emerging area.
- Experience working in Central Government or wider Public Sector.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to convey complex information with clarity and a compelling narrative.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with the confidence to influence senior leaders.
You must be eligible for UK Security Clearance (CTC level or above) and willing to undergo clearance, if not already held.
