Global Accounting Network are partnering exclusively with an energy client who are looking for a highly capable Interim FP&A Manager to support through a particularly busy 6-month period. This is a fantastic opportunity for a self-starting, hands-on FP&A generalist who thrives in fast-paced environments and is confident building and managing Excel-based models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of the mid-year forecast (Q2F)
- Support the 5-Year Plan (5YP) process
- Contribute to the Q3 forecast (Q3F)
- Focus on opex forecasting, analysis, and insights
- Partner with business stakeholders to support planning cycles and performance reviews
- Drive improvements in reporting, management information (MI), and processes, particularly in the context of a recent Workday implementation
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant with industry experience
- Proven experience in FP&A roles, ideally across multiple planning cycles
- Strong Excel modelling skills - must be comfortable navigating and refining complex models
- Analytical mindset with the ability to distil data into actionable insight
- Prior experience working on Workday reporting improvements is highly desirable
- Energy industry experience is beneficial but not required -opex focus is key
