Interim Financial ControllerLocation: London 3 days per weekContract: Interim (Full-time)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a fast-paced, international Financial Services firm during a period of change.

This role will suit a hands-on finance leader from an SME background with strong technical expertise, a track record of driving process improvement, and ideally NetSuite experience.

You will lead and oversee the finance function (team of 3), working closely with the CFO. Key responsibilities include:

• Financial leadership: Oversight of management accounts, board reporting, revenue recognition, cashflow forecasting, and group consolidations.

• Operational finance: Supervise transactional activities, statutory reporting, tax compliance, annual audit, and treasury management.

• Business partnering: Collaborate with sales, HR, and overseas teams to support growth, revenue cycle optimisation, and international expansion.

• Strategic input: Work alongside the CFO on technical accounting, debt provider reporting, and preparing the business for future events.

• Process improvement: Drive automation and continuous optimisation of finance processes.

We are seeking a dynamic and pragmatic professional with:

• ACA/ACCA qualification (preferably top 20 practice trained).

• 5+ years post-qualified experience within a growing SME or similar environment.

• Financial Services experience

• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.

• Previous NetSuite experience

• Exposure to international group reporting.

• Proven ability to lead a small team while remaining hands-on.

• Strong Excel and Microsoft skills.

• A proactive mindset with a passion for optimising systems and processes.
