Interim Financial ControllerLocation: Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid)Duration: Up to 6 months, with strong potential for permanent placementSalary: £80,000 - £90,000 per annumWe are currently looking for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to lead the financial operations of a dynamic and growing organisation. This role will offer you the opportunity to have a significant impact on the business by ensuring efficient financial management, compliance, and driving strategic insights. There is a strong possibility for this role to transition into a permanent position after the initial term.Key Responsibilities:* Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.* Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including cash flow planning.* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.* Oversee the financial operations of the organisation, providing strategic financial insights to senior management.* Supervise and develop the finance team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and adherence to deadlines.* Act as a point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.* Implement and maintain robust financial controls and systems.* Support senior leadership with data analysis and decision-making.Required Skills & Experience:* A recognised professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or relevant degree.* Proven experience in financial management and leadership, ideally within a UK-based organisation.* Strong understanding of accounting standards and tax regulations.* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with SAP or similar platforms is a plus).* Experience with international subsidiaries or multi-currency operations is advantageous.* Ability to analyse and manipulate complex data, including using pivot tables.This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced organisation during a period of growth.
