My client is a Housing Association seeking an Interim Finance Transactions Manager for an initial 3 to 6-month contract.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the Accounts Payable function in its day-to-day activity, as well as supporting the wider transformation programme.
  • Identify improvements to processes and best use of systems.
  • Manage a customer-focused transactional service, ensuring timely billing and payments and prioritising relationships with suppliers.
  • Motivate and mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of improvement.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering an A grade service and strives to make processes and procedures as good as they can be, even under challenging circumstances. The team gathers twice per week in the office in West London, with the remainder of the week worked remotely.

Key criteria to meet before applying includes:

  • Show experience in leading high-performing transactional finance teams as well as strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and customer service skills.
  • Show examples of improvements made to transactional processes, and knowledge of internal and external audit needs.
  • Ideally be a qualified accountant or QBE.
