Interim Senior Finance Manager needed for a market-leading global media brand! This role is a combination of management reporting, system ownership (SAP BPC/SAC), and stakeholder leadership. Responsible for delivering high-quality consolidated reporting, driving system improvements, and supporting financial insight across a complex commercial group.
Key responsibilities -
- Lead the production and review of monthly and quarterly consolidated management reports for executive and board-level stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, data literacy, and financial storytelling to enhance value-added analysis
- Provide financial support on ad-hoc analysis, strategic initiatives, and external reporting preparation
- Act as the primary liaison between finance users, technical teams, and third-party providers for system-related issues, change requests, and defect resolution
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with finance, technology, and external partners to support reporting, controls, and system initiatives
- Line-manage a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development support
- Act as deputy to the Head of Finance as required, representing the team across senior forums
Candidate requirements -
- Professional Accounting Qualification- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Deep understanding of finance processes, controls, and reporting cycles, ideally developed within a large, matrixed organisation
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise-level ERP systems, particularly in Finance & Accounting or Record-to-Report (RTR) functions
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Be a proven line manager who can coach and mentor a small team
