Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, as Interim Finance Manager you will manage a team of two and play a pivotal role in maintaining the day-to-day running of the finance department. While this is initially a temporary role, there is potential for it to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Management Accounts: Prepare and review monthly management accounts with accuracy and insight.
- VAT Compliance: Ensure timely and compliant VAT reporting and submissions.
- Cashflow Forecasting: Monitor and forecast cashflow to support operational and strategic decisions.
- Treasury Management: Oversee day-to-day treasury activities and ensure optimal cash utilisation.
- Investment Portfolio Oversight: Manage and report on the charity's investment portfolio.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with budget holders, providing financial guidance and education to improve financial literacy and accountability.
Profile
- Proven experience in at Finance Manager level.
- Strong technical knowledge across management accounting, VAT, and treasury.
- A hands-on approach with a willingness to get involved in day-to-day operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Navision, Great Plains, or Business Central would be beneficial, but is not essential.
- Should be available to start the week beginning 4th August 2025.
Job Offer
Initially this role will be offered on a day rate equivalent of between £50,000 and £60,000 dependent on experience
