Our client is looking for an experienced Interim FP&A Manager to play a key role in supporting senior leadership through a period of strategic planning and performance analysis. This high-impact role will focus on budgeting, forecasting, and commercial insight to inform operational and financial decision-making at board level.
Job Overview:
The FP&A Manager will lead the development of monthly management reporting, provide accurate forecasts and strategic insights, and work closely with Directors and senior stakeholders to deliver financial clarity across the business. You’ll translate complex data into meaningful information, enabling faster, smarter business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver robust monthly Management Accounts reporting with clear KPIs and performance analysis
Regularly engage with senior management to provide financial and operational insight
Translate commercial analysis into reliable forecasts and projections to support strategic decisions
Analyse historical data and identify key trends, patterns, and risks
Manage the full budget cycle, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals
Track and report on strategic initiatives and projects for board-level visibility
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience in an FP&A role, ideally in a fast-paced commercial environment
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to distil complex data into actionable insights
Confident communicator with strong oral and written skills, able to influence senior stakeholders
Highly self-motivated, commercially aware, and able to operate autonomously
Advanced Excel skills are essential; familiarity with financial systems and modelling is a strong plus
A track record of driving process improvement and efficiency within a finance function
