Interim Finance Manager

Contract Type: Interim (6 months)

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Location: 2 days a week on site (South Birmingham)

To Start: Immediately

(Part time/ 30 hours)

Trinity House Group is supporting a high-growth, private equity backed, business services organisation to recruit an Interim Finance Manager. The business has adopted a buy and build strategy and as such the volume of M&A activity is high. This role reports directly to the Finance Transformation Director and supports on all necessary accounting activities of the newly acquired entities, assisting the integration with Group. The environment is fast paced, very varied, interesting and sits outside of a BAU finance function.

Key Competencies:

• Demonstrated experience in a comparable role, showcasing expertise in accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software, particularly Sage.
• Possesses strong analytical acumen and meticulous attention to detail.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of working autonomously and cooperatively within a team setting.

Duties:

• Conduct Monthly Bank Reconciliations.
• Prepare and Submit VAT Returns.
• Supervise petty cash expenditures and maintain meticulous records.
• Manage Fixed Assets and Prepayments.
• Prepare Monthly Financial Statements.
• Conclude the monthly close down process within Sage.
• Collaborate on accruals.
• Facilitate Supplier Payments.
