Interim Finance Director

Manchester - (3 days out of 5 in the office)

£600 per day

ENB are supporting a respected business within their sector who are recruiting for an Interim Finance Director to join their senior leadership team to be the strategic partner and offer the financial and commercial oversight ensuring full alignment within their group.

This role will hold people management responsibilities with 5 direct reports whereby you will need lead and develop the finance team, build the team capabilities whilst overseeing financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and investment appraisals.

With this persons guidance, you will be tasked to develop business strategies and as the commercial partner providing advice and support on pricing, margin improvements and business optimisation.

Over key areas of focus include:

• Overseeing financial planning, forecasting and budgeting
• Oversee financial operations including payable, receivables, general accounting and financial analysis
• Managing treasury planning, funding, working capital and intercompany arrangements
• Continuous improvement on risk management
• Be lead contact for auditors, tax authorities and insurance providers

Experience required:

• Multi-site retail experience
• Experience operating at Finance Director level with business T/O £80+ million
• Strong technical abilities within general accounting, FP&A, treasury and tax
• Strong team leadership, mentoring and coaching skills
