Interim Finance Business Partner | £50 - £55K | Manchester
We are working with a large scale youth charity based in Manchester to recruit an Interim Finance Business Partner on a temporary basis.
This position plays a central role in supporting both the central team and local delivery hubs across the UK. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the role provides proactive, strategic financial support aimed at driving long-term sustainability.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Act as a strategic finance partner to senior leaders and operational teams, providing financial insight and supporting effective decision-making.
- Develop and maintain forward-looking financial forecasts, budgets, and funding models aligned with organisational goals.
- Analyse and interpret financial results, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Present financial information in a clear, engaging manner for non-financial stakeholders, including leadership and governance bodies.
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
- Monitor and manage cash flow in collaboration with the finance team, identifying potential risks and improvement areas.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with fundraising, property, and delivery teams to provide financial input and reporting for funders and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems and processes, leveraging technology to enhance service delivery.
- Provide financial training and support to operational teams, promoting strong financial management practices across the organisation.
About you;
- You will be experienced in a finance business partnering role
- Skilled at driving business decisions by translating financial data into actionable insights
- Confident in presenting financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders
- Familiarity with the financial frameworks and reporting requirements of charity or grant-funded organisations.
