Interim Accounts Payable Officer - Robertson Bell : Job Details

Robertson Bell are pleased to be working with a Public Sector organisation central London who are looking for an experienced Interim Accounts Payable Officer to join their busy team. Our client is able to offer a mixture of on site and remote working for the duration of the contract. There is a strong chance of this role developing in to a permanent opportunity.

Key duties will be:

• Processing payments for invoices within the agreed payment terms.
• Escalating and resolving queries promptly to avoid delays to payments.
• Produce ad hoc reports for departments and suppliers.
• Preparation and processing of the weekly payment run.
• Reconciliation of invoices.

You will need:

• Previous experience of working in a busy accounts payable function.
• Iodeally public sector / not for profit experience
• Ideally an understanding of Open Accounts
