Interim Accountant - Axon Moore Group Ltd : Job Details

Interim Accountant | Minimum 6 months contract | Up to £450 p/d Inside IR35 Axon Moore have partnered with a long term client to support a number of interim management accountant roles. This is ideally suited to someone who thrives in a fast paced, high growth environment and is not afraid to role their sleeves. The contract is for a minimum 6 month term with opportunities to extend if successful. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing month end results, including balance sheet controls and P&L analysis. • Demonstrate commercial awareness around how financials relate to business performance
• Prepare, reconcile and review balance sheet accounts demonstrating a full understanding, to raise corrective journals where necessary and highlighting risks and opportunities
• Manage and contribute to the production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts
• Consolidate, analyse and review trends and variances across financial statements, interlinking non-financial data with financial data
• Lead the presentation of month end reviews and act as the key point of contact with finance business partners to concisely articulate financial results and analysis
• Support the business with internal and external audit reviews, dealing with queries and assisting auditors with the review process in a timely manner
• Enhance the control framework of the business through the identifying, adopting and embedding new processes and controls to prevent accounting errors

Person Specification - 

• Accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or QBE
• Previous experience as a management accountant
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Excellent technical accounting knowledge, IFRS 15 is an advantage
