Interim Accountant - Robert Half : Job Details

Robert Half are supporting this niche manufacturer in Huddersfield with the recruitment of a short term Accountant to support them through a period of change over their year end period. It would be advantageous if you have experience of working with growing businesses in the manufacturing sector. A self-starter, proactive with the capability and confidence to use your initiative. You will have the ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to a dynamic, fast moving and changing work environment.

The Role:

Reporting in to the Finance Director, the role will be broad, with exposure to multiple business functions and will be integral to driving improvements across the business.

Reporting and review of management accounts and preparation of monthly results.

Production of monthly board and management packs

Assist with the preparation of the statutory accounts.

Liaison with external auditors.

Provide technical accounting advice to the group subsidiaries and correct where needed.

You will be a fully qualified accountant with effective time management and organisational skills. Must be team oriented, approachable and trusted, with the ability to be flexible in pursuit of the larger goal. Proactive approach with strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders. Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines. Customer service focused. Strong written & oral communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. This role is ideally based on site so it is important you live commuting distance from Huddersfield.
