Interface Analyst & Junior DBA - Spectrum IT Recruitment : Job Details

In this role you'll play a key part in maintaining and improving the many technical interfaces that connect a core system with a variety of internal and external systems. You'll also help support our UK databases by monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimising performance.

Interface Analyst & Junior DBA

Portsmouth - Hybrid

Up to £40,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting and enhancing a suite of critical data interfaces (e.g., CCS, Mileage Uploads, Contract Loader)
• Monitoring and optimising connector and batch performance
• Leading solution design and implementation of new data interfaces
• Working with third-party vendors and internal teams to solve integration issues
• Assisting our Development DBA with database support and stability
• Troubleshooting failed data loads and restarting processes as needed

Key Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years in a similar role
• Solid experience with SQL Server, SSIS, APIs (REST), JSON, XML, CSV, SFTP
• Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with IT security, data governance, and compliance
