Insurance Support/ Account Handler - MW Appointments : Job Details

Our client who is a Lloyds Brokers is looking for an Insurance Assistant/ Account Handler to join their expanding Private Clients/ Private Medical Insurance team in the Witham, Essex office. The purpose of the role is to provide support to the departments as well as dealing with clients insurance policies.

Main Duties:

• Assist with the new business and renewal processes for clients in accordance with their specific needs.
• Negotiate terms with insurers for new business and at annual renewals as well as MTAs
• Provide proactive and responsive service to client queries in a timely manner
• Maintain client files by collecting and organising all relevant documents electronically within Acturis
• Ensure the PMI diary is maintained/reviewed/updated accordingly
• Carry our reoccurring department processes as and when required
• Produce accurate and timely documents for all aspects of insurance needs
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients/ insurers.
• Where necessary, produce and maintain spreadsheets, bordeaux and databases
• Assist with any department marketing strategies when required

Essential Skills Required:

• Previous experience within a similar role
• Good understanding of Insurance
• Keen to develop skills/ knowledge within the Insurance industry
• Strong IT skills

Desirable:

• Good organisation skills
• Knowledge of Acturis

What you need to know:

• Permanent role
• Based in Witham, Essex
• Salary between £21,000 - £26,000
