Our Non-Life team focuses on researching, analysing, and reporting on the many existing & emerging risks and changes that impact the global insurance industry.

As our Insurance Researcher, you will be joining our fantastic team of insurance professionals, all of whom have an in-depth knowledge of local markets, practices, and regulations to make them true subject matter experts.

In addition to this as our Insurance Researcher you will assume responsibility for:

  • Supporting the Non-Life team to communicate market developments in insurance and tax regulations worldwide, based on research from a variety of resources.
  • Researching a focused set of markets to build-up an understanding of the insurance regulations, tax compliance requirements and general supervision of the local insurance market.
  • Working closely with the Team Lead and Non-Life team members as we look to constantly evolve and improve our offering for clients. This will include building out and maintaining the team’s source database using various research methods, ensuring that Axco remains at the forefront of updating the global insurance industry on regulatory developments.
  • Checking the quality, accuracy, and integrity of non-life content within Axco’s product suite.
  • Producing written analysis of insurance markets for use in Axco products.
  • Contributing to the success and development of Axco by supporting and taking ownership of non-life related projects.
  • Responding to client requests and content questions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborating with Axco’s data and country risk team, product teams and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions as part of ad hoc projects (thought leaderships, webinars etc.).

In order to be successful in this role you must have:

  • Experience in researching, understanding and summarising information.
  • Excellent writing and proof-reading skills.
  • Ability to produce concise, accurate summaries based on large amounts of information.
  • Have the desire and willingness to learn insurance concepts.
  • Excellent communication and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with an inquisitive nature and detail oriented.

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience reviewing legislative/regulatory information.
  • Additional language skills.
  • Knowledge of non-life insurance policies.
