Insurance Industry Finance Position - Oliver James : Job Details

Oliver James are currently supporting an insurance client in London who are recruiting for an FP&A and Financial Accountant to join the business on a permanent basis in two separate pillars of their finance function.

We are looking to speak with candidates who are ACA qualified and currently in an audit position where your client portfolio would be insurance businesses.

We are looking for candidates who have a strong understanding of;

• UK/US GAAP
• Solvency II
• IFRS (IFRS 17)
• Financial Audit (any other statutory and regulatory reporting standards)

You will need;

• To be a fully qualified or nearly qualified accountant - preferably ACA (ACCA/CIMA will be considered)
• The ability to work to tight deadlines
• To be commercially/Strategically minded - look at the financial data from a different perspective
• To have a strong and confident communication style (written and verbal)
