Insurance Agent

Salary: £24k - £28k + £35k OTE and team incentives.

Location: Brighton

Hours: Mon-Fri 9-5 or 10-6

Have you worked within insurance, financial services or a bank and had experience of dealing with customers over the phone, either in sales, retentions, cross selling or quoting on insurance products or other financial services products?

If so, I have a great opportunity to join my client’s brokerage based in Brighton dealing with customers that are looking to take out Accident, Sickness and Unemployment insurance products.

Responsibilities:

• Contacting customers who have requested information via website, email, social enquiries and digital marketing activities.
• Performing fact finds with customers to discuss products that will suit their needs.
• Offering a sensitive service as you will be going through customers medical histories.
• Liasing with insurers and underwriters for pre-post medical underwriting for customers.
• Quoting and arranging new policies.
• Taking the customer through the whole sales process ensuring they receive the highest service levels.
• Updating the in-house CRM with accurate customer information.
• Overcoming customer concerns and selling the benefits of the products and services.
• Adhering to FCA regulations.
• Working to sales targets and quality targets.

• Great communication skills and enjoy dealing with customers over the phone.
• Proven background of working within a FCA regulated environment.
• Have a background in sales, retention or upselling insurance or financial services products.
• Consultative sales and service approach to customers
• Self-motivated, driven and thrive in a target driven working environment.
• Enjoy the buzz of the sale without cold calling.
