Job Description :

Located in Branksome Poole, Highworth Insurance is part of the Howden Insurance Group. We're looking for people to come and join our growing team of Insurance professionals.

Purpose: As a Renewals Consultant operating in a regulated industry, your role will be diverse and fast paced. You will be working within the non-standard and single article Insurance broking market. You will be responsible for speaking with our customers proving excellent customer service and taking them through the renewal journey with the objective being to renew the policy.

Working with a panel of Insurers you will be required to problem solve and identify solutions as part of the client renewal process. We really care about our clients and pride ourselves on client experience and client retention, this role will see you learning the complexities of broking in a technical market.

Key Activity:

  • Providing an excellent advice and customer experience to existing clients
  • Effectively communicating with clients throughout the renewals journey
  • Negotiate terms and pricing to meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Adhering to core compliance and regulations in line with FCA requirements
  • Managing a pipeline of existing clients in a timely proactive manner.
  • Liaising and building relationships with Underwriters and Insurers.
  • Processing policy adjustments and changes.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all customer interactions via the CRM systems.

Competencies:

  • Insurance background is preferred but not essential.
  • Confident and professional

  • Problem solving and Prioritisation.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and to manage own time effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Training and support:

As an advised brokerage we are looking to create Insurance experts. Full training will be provided with ongoing support. We encourage the take up of Insurance qualifications and expect all employees to complete the CERT CII Insurance qualification within the first 2 years of service.
