Inspection Operative - Candidate Source - TEAM : Job Details

A well-established manufacturing business producing high-quality printed products is looking for an Inspection Operative to join the team in Clydebank. Along with a salary of £25,700 per annum, you will receive a range of benefits including 24 days holiday (plus bank holidays), ongoing training and development opportunities, a supportive team culture, employee perks, product discounts, free weekly fruit and annual health checks. This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail who takes pride in ensuring every product meets the highest quality standards before it leaves the factory. What you’ll be doing as Inspection Operative:You’ll be inspecting printed materials, spotting even the smallest inconsistencies, and setting up equipment to keep production running smoothly. Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out visual and physical inspections of printed materials for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
• Identifying and reporting any defects such as misregistration, colour variation, smudging, or incorrect content.
• Setting up multiple slitter units.
• Setting up and running a 100% visual inspection unit.
• Splicing rolls together in line with customer specifications.

What we’re looking for in an Inspection Operative:

• Experience working in printing or manufacturing environments.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a methodical approach.
• Ability to follow procedures, manuals, and quality standards.
• Good teamwork skills and a safety-first mindset.
• Basic computer skills.
