Job Title: Insolvency Cashier

Location: North London

Salary: £35,000 plus (dependent on experience)

Working Pattern: Full time office-based

The Role:

To be responsible for all cashiering duties across a variety of insolvency case types, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with all regulatory requirements.

This role carries a large amount of responsibility and forms an integral part of our client's practice, upholding the highest levels of professionalism and trust.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client accounts in accordance with insolvency regulations and internal controls
• Maintain accurate financial records for all case types
• Process receipts, payments, transfers, and journal entries onto IPS system
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure bank mandates are up to date
• Monthly Bordereau reporting;
• Support the insolvency team with financial queries or requirements

Experience and skills:

• Prior experience in a similar role within an Insolvency Practice or Legal Firm is essential
• Strong knowledge of insolvency cashiering procedures and regulatory compliance
• Working knowledge of MS Office and IPS
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Able to work effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication and team-working skills
