The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Insolvency Cashier to step into a Product Manager role within a leading international software firm, specialising in insolvency and restructuring solutions. This is a unique position that blends hands-on insolvency knowledge with technology product development, working at the forefront of innovation in the sector.
The Role
You will play a key role in shaping the development and enhancement of insolvency software products, working closely with technical teams, clients, and internal stakeholders. Your expertise in insolvency processes, particularly using IPS and SQL, will be instrumental in ensuring the software meets user needs and remains compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert in insolvency cashiering, providing insight into product requirements and industry standards
- Lead product planning and contribute to the product roadmap in collaboration with technical and commercial teams
- Liaise with clients and internal users to gather feedback, identify improvements, and translate business needs into product features
- Test new software functionality and provide quality assurance input prior to release
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insolvency regulations and industry developments to inform product direction
- Use SQL to support reporting, data queries, and troubleshooting
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Insolvency Cashier, ideally within an accountancy practice or insolvency firm
- Strong working knowledge of IPS (Insolvency Practitioners System)
- Proficient in SQL and confident in using data to inform decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A strong interest in technology and the software development lifecycle
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
