The Role:
As part of the dedicated inquest team, you’ll handle a varied caseload of inquest matters, including complex Article 2 inquests and those involving Legal Aid Agency (LAA) funding. You’ll have the freedom to work autonomously while benefiting from the support of an experienced, collaborative team around you.
Key Responsibilities:
· Represent clients at inquests, including complex Article 2 proceedings
· Provide expert advice on Legal Aid Agency funding and other funding options
· Undertake thorough investigations and prepare detailed, high-quality submissions
· Liaise with coroners, clients, medical experts, and other stakeholders
· Ensure compliance with legal regulations and maintain exceptional client care standards

About You:
· Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with significant inquest law experience
· Strong knowledge of Article 2 inquests and LAA funding
· Excellent communication, advocacy, and client care skills
· Ability to manage caseloads independently whilst working collaboratively within a team
· A client-focused, empathetic, and proactive approach
