Information Security Governance Analyst - Huxley : Job Details

A prominent player in the financial services sector, dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of information security are currently seeking an Information Security Governance Analyst to join their team in London (Hybrid 1-2 days per week in office). As the Information Security Governance Analyst, you will be a key contributor to the information security governance framework. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of governance principles, risk management, and compliance within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Governance Framework Development: Assist in the design, implementation, and enhancement of the information security governance framework.
• Policy Management: Develop, review, and update information security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and support the development of risk mitigation strategies.
• Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and assess compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and applicable laws.
• Security Awareness Programs: Collaborate on the development and implementation of security awareness and training programs for employees.
• Reporting: Prepare and present reports on information security governance activities to senior management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in information security governance within the financial services sector.
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting financial services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
