Information Governance ManagerLondonPermanent, full-timeUp to £85,000pa + benefitsMy client, a top global law firm, is actively recruiting for someone with strong Data Protection and Information Management experience to join them on a permanent basis - working as their new Information Governance Manager.This law firm have over 600 Lawyers working across multiple locations, including Americas, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia!Working within their Risk and Compliance department - you'll be working alongside the Risk and Compliance Partner in London, along with an experienced and professional team of Lawyers, Officers and Researchers.As the successful Information Governance Manager, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:- Developing procedures and processes to ensure the classification and confidentiality of data privacy and data protection.- Assisting senior management and Lawyers in identifying and containing risks relating to data privacy.- Supporting internal, client and regulatory audits into the firms compliance for information governance and privacy.- Advising legal and project teams and proposes solutions for information technology issues.- Designing, producing and delivering educational programs to Lawyers and other firm personnel on their risk management responsibilities.- Working with the IT function to support technical solutions for Data Loss Prevention and threat detention.+ many more.To qualify for this Information Governance Manager opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:- Must have experience in a wide variety of disciplines, including; information technology, data privacy, compliance, records management.- Must have a minimum of THREE years in a similar position at a similar sized LAW FIRM.- Must be able to demonstrate a risk management mindset and have strong attention to detail.- Must have a proven record of leading a team.If you feel you have the correct experience for this role and you're interested to discuss further, get in touch as soon as possible.
