Indirect Buyer - Nigel Wright Group : Job Details

The RoleThe successful Senior Buyer will be responsible for:

• Negotiating cost of key raw materials with main suppliers
• Review and evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery
• Work collaboratively with materials team to ensure goods arrive as per delivery dates
• Attend supplier visits to build strong, long lasting relationships
• Analyse market trends on key components 

The BusinessNigel Wright is pleased to be working with a global, market leading business, to recruit an experienced Senior Buyer for a contract running until the end of 2025. The role will be based at their high volume manufacturing plant.The IndividualThe successful Senior Buyer will have:

• Experience in Indirect procurement
• Ideally have experience purchasing goods in a manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail  
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers effectively
• Excellent communication skills
• CIPS qualifications would be desirable
