Overview

A well-established, advice-led financial planning firm in Swansea is seeking a qualified IFA to join the team in a senior capacity. This role has been created to support a highly experienced adviser managing over £52 million in active client assets, with a further £15 million in legacy assets available for development.

This is a rare opportunity to inherit a warm, active workload without the need to bring your own client bank. The firm benefits from consistent inbound enquiries and referrals, ensuring advisers have a reliable pipeline of prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an existing portfolio of high-value clients and respond to new inbound enquiries

• Deliver holistic financial advice, with a particular focus on pensions, retirement planning, and legacy advice

• Work closely with the firm’s leadership to maintain high standards of client service and compliance

• Build long-term relationships with clients through regular reviews and effective financial planning strategies

Candidate Profile

• Qualified Financial Adviser (Level 4 Diploma or equivalent)

• Strong pensions knowledge and experience advising legacy and retirement clients

• Confident operating independently and managing complex client needs

• Self-sufficient, professional, and comfortable in a senior client-facing role

• Candidates from a paraplanning background working toward advice will also be considered; support and funding for qualifications is available
