Job Description :

Our client is looking for a Part-Time or Full-Time Call Handler. The role is Monday – Friday, 12 weeks initially but could be extended.

Call Advisor Role – Enhanced DBS is required or be happy to undertake a DBS check by Reed.

Location: Norwich, St Andrews Business Park

Rate: £12.51 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 2pm to 6pm

Duration: 12 weeks initially but likely to be extended

It's for a new service which we are trialling taking calls from patients and entering details onto a GP’s website.

About the Role and Responsibilities:

  • Answer operational calls that come into the contact centre.

  • Provide accurate assistance over the telephone using appropriate software/triaging tools and logging accordingly.

  • Book services via other organisations.

  • Interaction with public and professionals.

  • Some patients might be difficult to handle with sensitive subject matters.

Call Handler Qualities:

  • Happy to undertake an Enhanced DBS check

  • Reliable

  • A great telephone manner

  • Good use of computers

  • Strong listening skills

  • An empathetic nature
