An established financial planning firm is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IFA Administrator to join their Coggeshall-based team. This opportunity sits within a small, collaborative office environment supporting experienced Independent Financial Advisers, where high standards of client service and operational efficiency are core to the business.
This is a key support role, ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience within financial services administration, particularly those familiar with adviser support functions. You’ll work closely in a small knit team of advisers and administrators to ensure accurate, compliant and timely handling of client affairs.
Key Responsibilities:Preparing and submitting Letters of Authority (LOAs)
Processing new business applications across a range of financial products
Handling investment and pension product transfers
Updating and maintaining CRM systems with client and case data
Assisting with ongoing client servicing and communication
Preparing client review packs in advance of annual meetings
Liaising with providers and supporting the wider administration team as needed
Previous experience (minimum 1 year) in a financial planning or wealth management environment
Good understanding of core IFA administrative processes
High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a busy team
Confident using financial CRM systems and Microsoft Office
Stage 1: Initial video interview via Microsoft Teams
Stage 2: Final in-person interview at the Coggeshall office
