ICT Design Engineer - Blueprint Recruitment Solutions : Job Details

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for an ICT Design Engineer to join a leading ICT Consultancy, on a long-term contract basis, outside IR35.

This position offers the chance to work on a remote basis whilst attending London project sites occasionally.

As the successful ICT Design Engineer, you will play a vital role in shaping technology solutions for clients whilst providing expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the production, review and approval of telecoms designs
• Ensure designs and documentation are consistent and high quality
• Managing all deliverables throughout the specification and design process
• Ensure technical processes and procedures for the delivery of outputs are followed
• Work closely with the Design Lead and Implementation team
• Develop scopes, site surveys, cost estimations and tender documentation
• Perform bid analysis

Key Requirements:

• 3 years' experience delivering Data Centre telecoms designs
• Extensive experience in Data Centre technology and Engineering
• Experience in the specification, design and delivery of ICT infrastructure
• Ability to converse and design with CAD and Revit Technicians
• Effective communications skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous management experience is beneficial
• Experience of working to RIBA stage 2-4
