I&C Contact Coordinator – Nottingham (Office-Based)

Location: Nottingham (Lenton Lane – great tram & bus links)

Start Date: 01/09/2024

Contract: 6 months (with possible extension)

Hours: 39 hours/week, Monday–Friday

Office Days: Tues & Thurs core office days (hybrid after training)

Do you enjoy making things happen, solving problems, and delivering top-class service? Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is looking for an organised, energetic, and proactive I&C Contact Coordinator to join our growing Energy Services team in Nottingham.

Imagine This (Job duties):

In this customer-facing role, you’ll play a vital part in coordinating metering appointments for our Industrial & Commercial (I&C) clients across the UK.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Making outbound calls to book smart metering upgrades, fault jobs, and rollout projects
  • Handling inbound appointment requests via phone and email
  • Organising site-specific requirements (e.g. permits, RAMS, vehicle access)
  • Supporting our field engineers by logging health, safety, and environmental updates
  • Ensuring all bookings meet customer access and scheduling requirements
  • Hitting booking targets and maintaining high levels of accuracy and service
  • Working closely with wider operational teams to support job completion

What You Need to Bring (Experience required):

We're not just after a call handler — we're looking for someone who takes ownership of the customer journey and isn’t afraid to dive into the details.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written)
  • A customer-first mindset and confident phone manner
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Resilience in a busy environment – you're calm under pressure
  • A team player attitude – willing to support and collaborate
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • GCSE-level education (or equivalent)
